Silver Plume Ice

On a short break from Dallas EJ and I took a short trip up to Silver Plume for the second time this season. We didn’t know how the flow had faired during the last warm spell but we though we’d check it out anyway. Surprisingly the flow was in better than expected shape. It was a bit wet on the right side but made for an enjoyable morning which will probably be my last ice climb of the season. EJ and I each took several laps on top rope and then called it a day. For EJ and I the ice was a little thin for a comfortable lead but there was another party that lead the climb. If you’d like to climb this flow get there soon because it’s melting fast.
