For the first climbing trip of 2010 EJ and I took a couple of laps on the Upper Flow of the Big Thompson Ice Fall. We assumed that it would be packed (it usually is on weekends) but we were the only party there the entire morning. We each lead the left, center and right sides of the flow. EJ took a short free-solo to retrieve a stuck rope too. The Upper Falls have filled out quite a bit since November and they made for an enjoyable morning out.
